Due to the Digital Switch over analogue services are being interrupted and closed down.

Analogue text has almost totally been switched off with only a few pages on certain channels being left available until the switch off of analogue.

You may also have problems with the following.

Auto time set ~ If you have a unit that sets the date and time via the analogue aerial this can miss set the date or time or not set it at all. This is a permanent result and you will have to disable auto set and manually set the date and time.

Timer record via PDC ~ We recommend that nobody uses this function on any analogue broadcast, this is not being transmitted on all broadcasts and if you enable it and it is not broadcast the recording will not be made.

Subtitle Recording ~ If you record subtitles on analogue recordings ie. VCR this may not work on all recordings, this again is due to the termination of analogue broadcasts.

Analogue Text ~ Analogue text has been reduced to a minimal broadcast, this means that most pages are no longer available, some TV sets will not receive the text due to changes in the broadcast, this is a problem that will not be resolved due to the switch off and switch over to Digital.

All the problems above are a direct result of the switch over, some areas will get a un-effected service up to the switch over whilst other areas will get some or all the problems. There is no fix for any of the problems other than replacing equipment with Digital Freeview units.
